The Mariners actually WON on opening day!</P> <P>Well, don't get excited; they've won on opening day before and gone on to have a truly miserable season. If this year they're as bad as they were last year, I foresee many changes in management.</P> <P>I have a bet riding on this, too, with my physical therapist. If the M's have a record of .500 or more, I owe him a 6-pack of Corona; if their record is .499 or worse, he owes me the same thing. This is one bet I think I'm going to win.</P> <P>But, anyway, I'm happy to see the boys of summer back.
