Do You Ride A Bicycle?

Let's talk bikes! Bicycle, not motor. Do you ride? What kind do you have? When do you get too old? LOL!!! I went from a Mountain Bike to a hybrid bike that you ride more upright on. I can see around me better and the ride is more comfortable and I think I look better at my advanced age!

It's getting to be bike weather isn't it?

Love to ride my bicycle. Nothing fancy or expensive, just an old Schwinn 1-speed with coaster brakes.

I wish I had a place to ride outside. My only bike is in Ride class at the gym. Did it this morning so my pedaling is in for the day.

Yes I do. I have a mountain bike. I ride on paved trails and offroad. I love bike riding.

I have two....A regular Schwinn for outside riding and a bike for inside exercising, love them both.......Right now using my indoor bike as it is winter here in the midwest, but as soon as Spring comes hubby and I will get our bikes outside......

I have a beautiful pale yellow Trek bike that I ride on my nearby bike trails. I can go 13 miles one way, so it's a nice ride.

I also have an S7 Spin spin bike that I ride daily.

Each is a different experience, but love riding outside.

My husband and I both have bikes. We take bike-rides when the weather is good, and it always seems to include a stop at a restaurant or bar or an ice cream stand for a pick-me up.

As a child only. I think it is too dangerous as an adult.

Yes my husband and I both do and we both have mountain bikes. We ride both on and off trails but mainly bike on trails.

Too dangerous? I am 46 almost 47 and I have never been hurt. I think there is more danger in not exercising or getting out and moving.

Even as a kid, I did not enjoy riding my bike. I did it (a lot) but only out of necessity. I much prefer walking. So, I do not own one now except for the stationary (exercise) bike I keep in the bedroom. For the record, I don't enjoy riding/using it either but, again, it's more of a necessity.

I have never owned a bicycle. Where I grew up in public housing projects there were few that had them. When 1 of my 3 older sisters started her job, she saved up and bought a girls bike. I did learn to ride it, and did so only with her permission.

When I started being a carhop, and making good money, at age 12, I bought a Whizzer Motor Bike. Rode that all the time when not working, even though it was illegal since I was only 13 at the time. Had a long talk given to me by a nice and understanding police officer.

I was about 2 miles from our house and he told me I had better push my motor bike home, or else. I understood what "or else" might entail. Pushing a bike with a motor and with gears always engaged, was like trying to push heavy snow with a shovel. I did make it home, eventually.

The only types of bikes I have owned, do not move, only the wheel and pedals do the moving. Have had several stationary bikes, with my present being a recumbent.
