Of natural causes. ABC soap star.

What a wonderful actor he was. Thanks Adam and Stuart for all the fun when I was home with a new baby and at other times when I needed a diversion.

LOL...I knew the name was familiar but couldn't place him. He was excellent on that show.

He was so amazing on AMC!

He really made me believe he was two people.

I really hate to hear that. I loved him as Adam and Stuart on AMC and also as Candy on Bonanza. A good actor and from all accounts, a gentleman. RIP.

He was the JR/Larry Hagman of dsytime tv! You loved to hate him! But five minutes later, you loved him as Stuart!

It took me awhile to figure out why that name was familiar. I haven't watched All My Children in probably 20 years but I used to watch it in the summer when I was off school. He was great.

RIP, Mr. Canary. What an accomplished actor, always looking the same, it seems, year after year. .....p.s. Another actor, Eric Braeden, still living, is an actor (Y&TR) who, for many, many years always looked the same. My parents were very impressed and enjoyed those daily shows, enjoyed his excellent acting.

Those were the days. Life just hasn't been the same since those soaps went off the air. AMC, OLTL, GH, all in a row. I know, GH is still on but not at the same time and by itself.

Adam/Stuart was a great story line and it was totally believable in soap opera land.

Oh this makes me so sad...those were the good ol' days...I thought he was in the top 5-10 soap actors of all time. RIP David.

I grew up on ABC soaps. Asa Buchanan and Adam Chandller were my favorite daytime villains. .

I did as well Makeup...they were all such good actors. Didn't Asa pass as well?

Yes, but it was weird. Asa died a week after Clint Buchanan died. It was unexpected to lose both actors in such a short amount of time.

I hope one day that reality tv will be over soon and they will go back to creating great drama/soaps.

Oh my goodness, I absolutely adored Asa Buchanan. I still remember when he literally came riding into Llanview.
