gotta change the channel...

I don't speak negatively about the hosts, and I am certain that he's a great man but when Rick hosts, no matter what he is selling I've gotta change. Talks to fast, jumps around to fast, talks over the guests.

Some members of my family talk fast, so that does not really bother me. However, there are hosts that I do not care for, and I simply change the channel, there is no reason to come here and announce it.

Fully agree OP. I can tolerate all of them but three. He is one of the three. I can't watch when he's on. The other two are Jill and Amy, in case you were wondering and if you weren't wondering, well then, never mind...

@_O_ Well, you do speak negatively about the hosts.

Your issue is an easy fix - use your mute button or just don't watch when Rick is on. Everything in life should be so easy to solve!.

I actually LOVE Rick as a host. I think he is so funny and he does a great job. Different strokes for different folks.

Some of you don't read. I do change the channel, as commented and if it's a negative comment you see then so be it. I wasn't commenting on his hair, his looks, weight or him personally, since I know a bit about marketing his style does not work for me. Different strokes for different folks, indeed, but if he's is trying to sell something to me, he's interuppting, can't understand a word because he speaks too fast...it's a loss no matter how nice and funny he is.

I agree with you. What is unfortunate is that many times there are products (especially electronics) that DH & I are interested in hearing a detailed presentation with a lot more input from the vendor. We also change channels and look it up on line later. I recognize you don't care for Rick's presentation style and not Rick the person. I feel the same way.

It sounds like you are a little shaky with your own problem solving techniques. You must follow through with them. All the way. Did you think anyone was going to tell you to continue to watch (with a wedgy?) and you may get over your dislike for the host?

Two words of advise. Follow through.

Cant wait for the mods to get here and take a look at this. Your on a board that is owned and run by QVC and you feel it is correct to knock their employee's. My one TV is on almost 20 hours a day and I have not one bad thing to say about any of the hosts. They are people who are working at a job doing their best to earn a pay check to be able to live and support them selves and their families. If they get on your nerves turn the channel, shop on line they deserve your praise not your nit picking about every little thing they do. If they were not good at their jobs they would not be getting a pay check, and they would not be on your TV screen.

That sure is one really rude comment and you know what your saying is the truth? In the corporate world you could be sued for making a statement like that with out having proof. Not funny, not nice, totally rude.
