Have you had a life experience when your Guardian Angel protected you?

I ask this tonight because my friend just had her very first car accident . Nothing serious but it being her first she is very tramatized.

it made me recall my experience as a child when I was in an accident with my parents in the 70's, we were hit head on by a drunk drive. I always asked to sit in the middle of the front seat and the answer was always NO. Well, that night my mother asked ME if I wanted to sit in that sit and for some reason I said NO and went into the back. If I had indeed sat in the front I would have been killed. The car was V'd and the motor was pushed into the front seat at that point. My mother who was wearing her seat belt was trapped in the car and it took them so long to release her. She almost died. My Guardian Angel protected me that night.

My granddaugther was about 6 when her father was working on their VW car (with engine in back). He asked her to hold something while he went to start the car up - the car jumped backwards and he screamed, thinking she was under the car at that point. She was fine - standing off to the side of the car. When he asked her if she was okay, she said someone picked her up and moved her. She said it was her grandpa (whom she had never met but died years earlier). She loves hummingbirds because she always thinks they are grandpa watching over her. Still gives me chills!

My Mom always believed that when we are conceived that it is written on God's heart when we will die. When my brother was killed in Viet Nam she said if he had not been in the war he would have died today of something here at home. She strongly believed this. It helped her through some tragedies.

I also believe that our days were numbered before we were placed in our mother's womb. While we are here, beings of many sorts accompany us on our life's journey, encouraging us to progress in spirit. We are never alone. We are not judged on the journey but held in love's widest embrace. I try to express gratitude daily for those accompanying me on my journey.

yes, someone is watching over me. he/she doesn't allow anything to happen to me that i can't handle. i hope to meet them someday.

I know we all have 'contracts'. When we will be born, the circumstances, the times, the family, the parents, etc. Like all contracts, there is an end. It will be different for all of us.

@Puzzle Piece I call it Destiny.

Also "Our Days Are Numbered" which is the same as Numerology. Some things in our life we can change (Free Will), but some things are pre-destiny and we must experience.

No need to worry, because we came to this dimenion just to live our own private map that we will travel.

Not sure what to think about the term used as a Guardian Angel.

The best I can answer is I know I have 13 Intelligent Life Forms working with me.

I envy all of you. I wish I had that type of faith... it would be a comforting thought to feel that someone up above was looking out for me and had laid a gentle hand on my shoulder. But I just could never get past the feeling that, to believe in something like this meant that I was special or privileged in a way that other innocents with "bad luck" were not. I guess what I'm saying is... why would I be deserving of a guardian angel when so many others seemingly are not? These are just questions I've asked myself. Certainly I'm not criticizing or belittling anyone else's beliefs. Like I said, I think it's wonderful so many of you have that type of faith.

@onewhiteSparrow Interesting. I understood the statement "Our Days Are Numbered" to mean we only have a certain amount of time here in this life journey. I don't know a thing about Numerology.

We do have free will and that we must also realize there are consequences and some rewards depending on the fork in the road we take. It's always best to take the high road and move on. This journey called life.

@AliJoi5, you don't have to have faith for it to be true, it is true that everyone is attended, whether they believe or not, whether we would judge them as deserving or not. Now, I think that highly evolved human beings probably have a larger quantity of beings supporting them as they strive to bring love to this world, but I am certain there is not one human who is unattended. I imagine that YOU have many . . .
