Found this online: entertainment.leadstories.com

It's a "secret" known to several Hollywood journalists for more than a year. Celebrity news website RadarOnline published a story on November 2, 2015, headlined: "Hollywood Superstar's Desperate Battle With AIDS Revealed." The report said he was a "world famous actor" who "fears his fans will hate him."

The story did not name the star, which triggered speculation in the media about who it could be. London's Sun newspaper reported on November 10, 2015 that "Hollywood was gripped with fear last night after a womanising A-list actor was diagnosed with HIV." Still no name.

Lead Stories knows the name of the actor supposedly hiding his HIV diagnosis. We are not publishing his identity out of ethical considerations and respect for the privacy of the HIV patient. Ironically, the lawyer for the actor in question also represents other actors who have been tainted by the speculation.

We can with certainty tell you who the purported HIV-infected A-list actor is not. We will publish a definitive list since the speculation is unfair to those unjustly suspected. We may add to this list as we find additional names placed into the speculation:

I think if others' lives are at risk for infection, the actors name should not be withheld.

@ValuSkr. I think this is their way of forcing the persons hand. I know that names were added to the list after it was published so it looks like others are taking it serious enough to have their names added.

I feel terrible to be such a gossip, but at this point I'm more interested in solving the riddle, lol.

THose people weren't even in the running from the description. Now Hugh Grant was....glad he isn't. I like him!

I don't think it need be revealed to the public. The Public Helath service is to be notified by any entity re to a positive HIV test; that includes private doctors. The testing is done anonymously by number but the person/entity ordering the test knows the identity of the person. Once the Health Dept. gets notification of a positive HIV, they contact the infected person and ask for contacts, then, they notify contacts re testing. Of course, if the infected person is not honest, the system fails.

In same states it is considered a Felony to withhold a HIV positive status.

This actor is a cad. Instead of people being sympathic towards his health status they will dispise him.

Harrison has supposedly been happily married to Calista Flockhart for a long time and prior to that in an over 20yr marriage to a screenwriter who just passed away, Melissa Mathison. He's never had the kind of reputation described in the article.

Kevin Costner used to cheat on his ex-wife (from what I've read - I have no firsthand knowledge) but I haven't heard about him being a playboy since he married wife #2 (much younger than he) quite a number of years ago now.

These two don't seem plausible to me at all.
