shows or not so I think maybe I'll

@newziesuzie, I'll be watching the Project Runway Season 14 Reunion show tomorrow night (8-9pm EST). As I mentioned earlier, from a few clips I've seen, I have the feeling that fur will fly.

Also, next week on thursday at from 8-9pm EST, Lifetime will be airing Tim Gunn's Ultimate Throwback Thursday:

Tim Gunn reveals the most explosive moments from the past 14 seasons of "Project Runway"

Now that should make for interesting viewing. lol, I've got my popcorn ready!!

I'm looking forward to watching Project Runway: Junior. These teenagers look talented and I'm really interested to see what they'll come up with. I'm also very curious to see how Christian Siriano will be as the main judge (in the Michael Kors spot). Christian won PR when he was very young and he quickly created his own successful fashion line. Becasue he was so young when he won PR, hopefully that will give him a better understanding about what these young designers are going through.

And I'm a huge Tim Gunn fan. If Tim's on board, then I'm game to give the series a try.

newziesuzie, I hope you like the new show and decide to stay around... and from a selfish perspective, because you do such a great job of keeping the PR threads on track in the QVC forums every week.

I haven't posted regularly on the Project Runway threads, but I'm a fan and probably always will be even though I hate seeing the puzzling decline in the show (at least, my perception of a decline). I appreciate the threads and I really enjoy reading all the opinions. I'm always interested in Tim Gunn's ventures and having Christian Siriano on the PR: Junior show also will prompt me to give it a try. Thanks for the heads up, @newziesuzie, and thanks for the information about "Tim Gunn's Ultimate Throwback Thursday," @bebe777!

I didn't know when the reunion show was on and thought I had missed it, so thank you for posting this.

I won't be watching Project Runway Junior. This last season of Project Runway was the first I've seen and it was interesting, but there are too many good shows on TV right now and not enough hours for me to watch them all.

I wasn't planning on watching it, but the segments they previewed during the PR finale last week caught my attention. It looks like there are some interesting personalities and maybe even some talent involved!

I'm more looking forward to the regular PR reunion tonight. However, my area is experiencing high winds today with predictions of widespread power outages. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but my power goes out when someone sneezes!

@ChynnaBlue, I used to watch the shows when they aired, but now I often find myself going to On Demand to watch later. If you ever get a chance, you might enjoy viewing one of the early seasons -- the show was much better, so the most recent seasons are missing the mark. I hope they can find what's missing and offer better designers and more interesting shows in the future.

I think they need to remember it's not just a design show -- it's a tv show, and personality matters probably as much as talent (sorry to say that, but to hold viewers' interest they need the blend of interesting people plus design talent).

I'd be more interested if it were just a design show and they didn't bring in the mean-spirited competitiveness. That's why one of the only reality competition shows I ever watch regularly is So You Think You Can Dance. In 12 seasons, they've never featured a single competitor saying something bad about another's performance.

When I watched this season, I would watch the beginning, the Tim Gunn Critique, then fast forward to the runway show, skipping the drama in the middle.

Excellent points, @ChynnaBlue. Truth be told, it seems to me the early days of the various reality shows like Project Runway didn't have what we now see as such contrived "drama" and they simply allowed the cast to be themselves as much as is possible with tv cameras in your face all day. I think they took what was a relatively benign but pleasant way to relax and watch a show and turned it into a relatively uninteresting, awkwardly edited or even partly-scripted carbon copy of all the other current "reality tv."

I would love to see them get more time to work on each challenge. The challenges can really be tough, then they give them one day to complete and expect perfection. The designers don't really get time to create what they're capable of. This most recent season, it seemed like they gave them less time for their finale runway collections as well.

I thought the reunion show was almost painful to watch. There was major dysfunction among the women, even in the mean girls group. Behind her back, there was no love for Candace even with her buddies.

When Lori called that group of girls on the carpet for trying to throw Ashley under the bus, they all went wild. None of their protestations sounded sincere. What I heard was a lot of anger at having been caught playing unfair.

But there were so many issues between various designers. I wonder if that was a factor in what made this past season so unwatchable.

The first episode of Project Runway: Juniors was fine but not that memorable. The teens seemed really sweet but what i really want to see is some creating, out of the box designs.

I'll probably watch this season out of curiosity and hope for the best.

I felt like the so-called mean girls were made to look like the villains in the paint ball project. I think Ashley was equally culpable.... she got her feelings hurt and it was all down hill from there. If you watch her body language she was never a part of the group, she hardly spoke up to give suggestions.... she acted like she expected the others to take care of her emotions. It doesnt work that way. Everyone gets chosen last at times... and we have to deal with it.... it was a group project, and not an easy one.... and all the drama didnt make it very easy.
