Just heard on the news. I've never heard of him as a politician. I only knew him as an actor who played the head DA on the "older" L&O series.

Not good news but I'll not miss those long commericals about Reverse Mortages. His voice was hum-drum beating on & on and the spot boring & not convincing. He left a very young wife and chilld. (Fred was his name)

Good man, a patriot, he died too young at 73 from a recurrence of lymphoma.

I enjoyed hearing his commentary on various Fox News shows. May he rest in peace.

I once heard that he had two children with second wife. They must be elementary and/or middle school age. My prayers are with them.

I only remember him from the commercials he made... The one where Jessie the paper boy hands him his paper..... And he says to Jessie "isn't that right Jessie". They played that commercial for years.

A very nice and decent man. A shock to hear of his death. I used to listen to him and his wife on talk radio. Both just great people.

Interesting man. As a lobbyist he did things that I didn't agree with but he certainly was a convincing actor when he portrayed politicians.
