Jewelry Television (JTV) Won't Ship to Another Address

I bought something on JTV and had it sent to my son. About two weeks passed, and he didn't receive it. I called and was told that they don't ship to an address other than the billing address unless my bank has a copy of that shipping address!!! They didn't tell me when I ordered the item and had it shipped to my son, and they didn't call me to tell me they couldn't ship the item! It was still sitting in their warehouse!!

Has anyone ever heard of this practice? It's a deal breaker for me. Can't send gifts, etc.

I've sent Jtv items to friends several times but not recently. In June I sent a birthday gift to No Carolina friend. Perhaps they changed their policy. Not a deal breaker for me.

OMG, I would never trust those people to get an item to another person ~ heck, they couldn't even get the earrings I ordered to me! I had the most awful experience with them recently. I was told by someone in their customer service dept that it wasn't their fault the earrings never got to me and what do I want them to do about it? Really? I wasn't rude when I called about the issue ~ I just wanted some assistance as to how to proceed with a package that appeared to be lost. Long story short, I paid off my balance and closed my account. Sorry,I know this was off-topic but I had to share.

Can I have an item shipped to another address?

You may have your order shipped to an alternative address. During the online ordering process, you will have the opportunity to add new or multiple shipping locations.

how would YOUR bank have the name and address of someone else in ther system? that doesnt even make any sense to me. right on the jtv site though it says you CAN ship to someone else. i would call them back, mention the information found on the website and see exactly whey they would not ship it as a gift.
