Sorry for your experience and for those you have lost from the dreaded cancer. I did not watch the show nor do I fall prey to the advertising either. Cancer is not easy, nor are the treatments to stablize it and fight it off. I lived and so many didn't. Many in their 20's leaving behind young babies, toddlers, children, mates. To trivialize how one fights to get through the cancer is, oh so insulting. The cancer tumors hurt, the treatment is no fun, the results are not guaranteed. My oncologist told me ther was the five year window for recurrance if I kept my healthy breast. After the surgery I was told that science has discovered it can remain dormant for up to 14 years. I think our best efforts won't supply a cure, but we can have better and less traumatic treatment than the previous generations.

Love Roses, 17 years cancer free, double mastectomy.
