43 million dollar wedding

Wow...how over the top is that? I can't imagine 43 million for a wedding. And this was not considered ultra lavish buy a rich perosn's standard.

What a gorgeous couple! I only hope that after spending that much money that it lasts. I can't imagine what all you would have to do to spend that much.

Un freaking believable....I'm speechless. So much difference between rich and wealthy these days.

I'm feeling poor after all that....I'm not fond of a pear cut diamond in general. But what a beautiful ring that is !

I'm not going to speculate on how they spend their money. At least there were vendors and employees, etc. that got paid.

Beautiful Ring. Attractice couple. Looked like a beautiful dress. Her long neck, delicate arms and lovely jawline made for quite a beautiful bride.

I do wonder though, why this couple wanted to dress in 'western' dress. With their history/culture, why a white dress and formal western attire for them.

Yes you're right it's thier money & they can spend it how they want. I will never understand why someone would do that. I could find better ways to donate that kind of money. I just don't believe in throwing away money like that even you it have it.

don't think any of it is different than if it was a 25,000 typical wedding. a beautiful wedding dress can be found for 2-3K anywhere, and a beautiful reception can be had for 20K

don't see any need to go over the top...ridiculous to just throw $ away. someday someone in the family may have need, maybe even the bride and groom. I am not impressed with these extravagant events or rings or dresses.

The couple is from a foreign country, foreign culture. They do not owe you or anyuone else the reasons why they do what they do. OUR nation is one where we allow others to seek their happiness and make their independent choices in what ever manner they choose. They are not obligated to us or anyone else. If you want to give away your wealth you are at liberty to do so. However, it doesn't mean that we are to sit back and pass judgement over those who choose to do things with their money you many not approve.

So many wonder why China is so rich - well look at the trinkets you buy that are imported from there.

One thing that bothers me is they don't look really happy, it just all looks like something staged. That photo of them "kissing" is so posed and not intimate at all. I hope that's not the case.
