I hope this thread stays nice so it is not MOVED.....just a friendly discussion please. I do plan to watch....I am not really crazy about any of the candidates, but, perhaps I will learn something.

I only knew of one debate scheduled for this evening. Not sure if I'm watching as I have some things going on. Fortunately, this type of thing is usually in mid-afternoon so it doesn't disrupt prime-time programming out here.

What other ones are going on tonight besides the one D one - anybody know? TIA

Of course I'm going to watch tonight. I can't wait to hear real policies and plans discussed. I hope they keep it civil and discuss things in a way that gives us an idea as to how they differ and how they are the same on some things.

I will definitely RECORD the debates, just in case I can't watch it all in real time and need to watch it later.

I have to say I really know nothing about 3 of the candidates, so this is important for them to become better known, and brings me up to speed on who they are and what they're about.

Yes! My DVR is set to record it in case I get stuck in traffic before it starts.

There's a big watch party at a bar downtown, but I need to stay home tonight. For the first democratic primary debate of 2008, I watched from a theater packed FULL of people. It was a lot of fun.
