Certain sounds can be pleasant or relaxing

and calming or even bring good memories to us.
I saw a poll of sounds most pleasant for people to hear,
this was the top 10:

So many for so many different reasons. Babies laughing, cats purring, puppies trying to figure out how to growl ... or woo! Night time nothing sounds. My DD laughing at me because I'm a nut. My DH talking to me and me not hearing a dang thing he is saying. LOL I ike hearing it all because some in my family can't.

Love this sound while walking in the woods. The leaves rustling in the wind. Just love that sound. Some times the wind really blows hard, and the leaves just shake.

waves crashing onto the beach......so relaxing......love to hear the waves at night in particular because it lulls me to sleep.

the sound of a steady rain.

crispy autumn leaves on the ground and hearing the animals walk and run through them at night.....when you cannot see them.

a crackling fire.

the sound of bacon and eggs frying......and the smell is phenomenal also. LOL

mourning doves early in the morning while you are still in bed.

Some wind chimes are so beautiful to hear. .... I often think of buying one, but afraid that it will bother the neighbors, and/or attract neighborhood cats (don't want them to leave their yards, from where they live/belong.). But, I just had a 'lightbulb moment'! I have a very small, quiet indoor table fan. Why not use the fan to gently blow onto the wind chimes and enjoy the chimes indoors! Sometimes I surprise myself by my new-fangled ideas.......lol.
