did padma lakssi look different to anyone last night

Let me just say that I think padma is stunning. Can't put my finger on why she looked so different. Anyone else notice anything?

Padma Lakshmi

Compared last several years....it's just the makeup/hair. She wears loose-side-part hair with a nude lip....that's been her 'Style MO' for a long time. This year...opposite with middle-flat hair with a bright red lip...funny how little changes have big impact!

I don't know about her but felicity Huffman sure looked different and it was more than the hairiest color.

Well, these posts prompted me to look at photos from the event.

I thought many of the women looked lovely and elegant. Padma Lakshmi was her usual gorgeous self.

But the comment about Felicity Huffman was right on: she is usually so pretty.

The dark hair, though, made her seem dressed for Halloween.

Me too. Still very pretty but very different and not as pretty as before to me.

Looks like a Kim Kardashian effect to me. I think it's more than hair and makeup.

I've watched all the Top Chef seasons and frankly didn't know who she was until they introduced her. I'm not sure what's so different but she looks great. Would trade anytime.

I did not see the show, but looking at the pictures, I think she does look different. To me, it's not just the make-up and hair.

I did hear some commentators say, it was a very bad hair night due to the heat. Her forehead looks more exposed than usual.

I didn't think she looked at all different.

But, the one who was unrecognizable to me was Felicity Huffman. I didn't really get to see a lot of her but I even remember pausing and rewinding on slo mo to try and see her more. If she walked up to me I'd have had no idea who she was.

She looked beautiful. I'm not dogging her. She was just unrecognizable to me.
