I've never seen Queen Elizabeth look as happy and relaxed as she does in this picture. So often she's kind of grumpy, but you can tell she loves her horses. Pretty horses too.

I read some time ago that Queen Elizabeth practically worships her horses.

I guess with so much joy and love one would assume they are kind of a stress relief for her.

Kachina, I think we see her here being her truest self. I read a biography of the Queen years ago, and it mentioned that as a child, she said that when she grew up, she wanted to be a lady who lived in the country with dogs and horses.

Well, at least she gets to do that part of the time. I think if her uncle hadn't abdicated, her life would have taken a very different course and most likely, we'd never have heard much about her. She'd have been content just to live with her dogs and horses!

They were having a good laugh over something. Makes you wonder what.

She has always been and still is, a very attractive woman, and she dresses like a queen.

Notice the eyeliner and shadow on them. They have beautiful, luminous eyes.
