It’s not just shoes that come off when NJ residents walk inside their homes.

A study conducted by trulia.com in conjunction with whispers.com uncovered an interesting statistic: the Garden State is more likely to bare all inside the home than any other state in the country.

Trulia and Whispers launched a microsite last week named TruliHome, offering information for homeowners and house hunters alike, including surveys like which state has the most na*ked residents.

New Jersey took their clothes off much quicker than any other state, and is 142% more likely to wear birthday suits at home alone than any other state.

Runners up, according to the company, include:

Louisiana
Mississippi
South Carolina
Rhode Island
Connecticut

The data was captured from whisper.com, “an online community where millions of people share real thoughts and feelings anonymously, to unveil some of the strange and often shocking things people do in the comfort of their own home,” the company said.

Maybe this explains all the skimpy bikinis I see at the pool on people who should not be wearing them. They would rather just be naked but had to put on something?
