What's your favorite food on a stick or fair food ?

Mine are corn dogs, lemonade and funnel cakes. ( Dull, I know : ) )

Exactly what you said. I never really eat any corn dogs or funnel cake unless I'm at the fair, which is very, very rare

@Lila Belle When you started this thread, I told my DH that we have to use the fryer next weekend and make some funnel cakes and I was going to pick up apple cider!!!

You haven't lived until you've had a county fair corn dog. LOL Hot dog on a stick dunked in a batter with cornmeal and deep fried.

Funnel cake and gyros are usually what I look for. Caramel apples as well.

we don't have big fairs around here. i had real corn dogs at a real fair once and wow were they yum ! i have never tried a funnel cake. we have summer carnivals here and they only sell fried dough.

Why is it gross? Its just a hot dog in cornmeal batter that has been deep fried. Not exactly some sort of foreign food that taste bad.

I've never been to a fair with fresh pulled taffy. That would be my downfall for sure.

I love the huge hot dogs since I'm normally not a junk food eater. They were really good!

I did my first small Iowa fair last year and I noticed a lot of people liked walking tacos which I had never heard of before and just couldn't even deal with. That and the meat sundae I will leave to other's culinary tastes.

I've never had a corn dog but my understanding is that they're quite unhealthy. Well, I guess it's okay if you have only one, and once a year.
