I think part of the confusion, at least, for me (if we are talking about the debates thread, is that the community standards say...Do not engage in political discussion or discussion of a controversial nature. According to this, the debate should not have even been mentioned as it was a "political" debate we were discussing. They did let us engage in political discussion for some time......so I would like to say to the moderators that I am confused as to how to interpret this standard. I get the sense that none of us posters and/or moderators understand exactly what that means??

Ohhhhhh. Sorry, had the wrong one. I didn't see that one on here. I watched the debates and heard some of the other comments he made. Guess I better not say anything. Thanks for the info.

Sometimes - just sometimes - those threads you KNOW full well are going buh-bye in the near future are freeing to let fly in. No great loss, but fun while it lasts.

IMO, whether the topic of a thread and its discussion is political in the sense of elections, parties or political ideology or not, the fact that the subject of the thread is running for public office does make it "political" if not directly in a given thread. QVC isn't going to split hairs.
