After 13 years of marriage and 3 children, she was the one who apparently filed. too bad, some marriages you think have a chance.........

Gavin Rossdale filed at the same time and both are asking for joint custody. Her name, since being on a popular show, is more recognizable to make the headlines.

Seems to be a very amicable separation. Wish them well.

I am hoping that the divorce will allow Gavin to go back to his career and get Bush back together!! Ever since they had children, all he does is push the stroller so she can have her career. He is a genius and much less "pop" than her.

Sorry to hear they are divorcing though. From what they are saying publicly, it is amiacable.

Why do people "feel bad" for the children of a divorced couple? I don't get that. Divorce is not the end of the world, divorce doesn't mean that the kids have lost a parent. It's often a very good thing for the children because there is nothing worse in this world for kids than growing up in an unhappy environment. And kids know when Mom and Dad are miserable! They also know when Mom and Dad cannot stand to be near each other. And where does all the "surprise" come from? It's 2015, divorce has been fairly common for 50 years at least. We only know what people want us to see and and that goes triple for celebrities. For all we know, Gwen has miserable since the day after the wedding. If they'd been married for 43 years, I might be surprised but probably not. Thirteen years....in the scheme of things.....that's not long at all.

when my niece's parents got divorced she was married and had children but said I thought I had a happy childhood. Sometimes it completely blindsides people.
