very cool, thanks for the info. I saw the full moon last night when I was driving home. The storms had passed thru and the sky was so clear and beautiful.

I just came back in from seeing the blue moon. What a beautiful night here.

That moon is really bright and most definitely full (but not blue).

It's so bright that it reminds me of that film Moonstruck where they remark several times on how bright the moon is. I'm glad I went out, even if it's almost 1:00 a.m. here.

The next one isn't until something like January 2018. My hubby and I took a long walk along a lakeshore near us, and it was beautiful glistening on the water.

The moon was gorgeous last night.

Yesterday on our local on line newspaper someone asked where the best place was to photograph the blue moon.

Some one replied that it was best photographed from the equater, on the blue line that encircles the earth.
