Online Freebies

I keep seeing freebies online (Yahoo soecifically). Has anyone subscribed to any of these? I went on for the first tiem to day and saw a couple of things I would like to try out; but I'm afraid I may get something started I may be sorry for.

Can anyone give me feedback on this?

I've found nothing is ever really free.

"free" usually means there's a catch to it or a scam.
