Might have been un-hearted

I have fewer hearts this afternoon than I did yesterday. If I had been un-hearted, would I be notified? Just curious.

Actually, what caused me to notice in the first place was a thread about someone's rank getting promoted. "Made me look." I still do not understand the system.

I lost about 20 hearts when a thread was deleted yesterday.

It's better to have been loved once than never have been loved at all.

There's no reference here about keeping track of anything, but I certainly cannot speak for anyone but myself. As I said earlier, I read a thread about someone's rank being promoted. The conversation went into the hearts that are given out. I was curious about it, so I checked my own number. I did look again later, and noticed the number had gone down. Again, because I am not 'up' on these things, I originated this post to inquire about it.
