Question re moving/removing threads

Something I have been noticing: a thread is removed/moved by a moderator, yet other posters are still able to post on the thread. One example is the "@QVCCommunityteam" thread. The second post is a moderator removing/moving the thread, yet there are several posts posted after it. If it is removed/moved, why is it still open for responses????

Just one person's post was removed, not the whole thread.
