To clarify some Cedar Cove characters ...

Since some seem to be confused about some new characters that were introduced last night ... Roy Mac Afee is a private detective & retired cop. He is pals with Bob who owns the bed & breakfast, and with Jack who is Olivia's boyfriend. Roy's wife is Corrie. They have a daughter Linette who is a PA, just out of college, and will be working at the clinic. Apparently a child they gave up for adoption has returned & gotten in touch with him.

If you have any questions who anyone else is just ask and I can look it up under cast of characters in the front of one of the Cedar Cove books, as I have them all in my kindle library.

Do you ever watch Home & Family on the Hallmark channel? Comes on at 10 a.m. till noon ET.

They sometimes have Debbie Maccomber (sp?) on and have been cooking recipes all week from her Cedar Cove Cookbook. Not all too healthy. lol.

Not sure if you're a 'Heartie' (you watch When Calls the Heart) or the Good Witch, but they have those characters/actors on frequently. I don't watch any of series/shows, but its seems like it is good television. Which is rare nowaday, if you ask me.....

I think adding to the confusion is that Shelly, Eric;s girlfriend and mother of his daughter, the ADA ,can't recall her name and Linette, plus the girl that used to be a ranch hand for Cliff all were pretty girls, around the same age and all had similar hair. For me this made it difficult to keep them separated in my mind.

I am beyond bummed that I missed last night's season premiere! I even wrote it on my calendar when it was advertised earlier. I tried to add it to my DVR, but obviously did something wrong because I can't find it. I scanned through tomorrow and part of Tuesday in the guide, but I didn't see where it is going to be rerun....which is kinda odd.
Hope to run into it somehow. Demitra

Yes, they all look alike. That's part of the problem. Thanks for all of your clarificarions!

I don't watch much daytime TV but I have seen this show.

Is the man who plays Olivia's daughter's boyfriend the one who came back from the military? Also, the blonde woman who showed up at Olivia's house.....who is she? Olivia wished her well and said she didn't want to see her again in her courtroom. I went in the other room, and just caught the tail end of that part.

Olivia's daughter's boyfriend is not in the books, in the books she is married to Seth. However,in the TV show he is an ex navy seal who has PTSD.

The blonde woman was from the very first book. She is marreid to a navy seaman who is deployed. In the very beginning of the series she had a stillborn baby while he was at sea and he did not get back for the funeral or anything and she wanted to divorce him but wise Olivia decided they needed to be together and got them reunited. Then she wanted to have another baby but he does not so she quit taking BCP and got pregnant secretly,then he is out to sea and his friend's wife tells him she is pregnant. Then he wanted to end the marriage and she went to Olivia to get help again. A very lame soap opera story.
