I tuned into Sirius Radios "Jeanette Radio on Stars" this morning because they had a Rosie Radio reunion with everyone from the old show (wish they would all come back I miss it) Anyway "Google Pete" got to talking about cremation and the carbon footprint it leaves and that's where the Topic of "Aquamation" a process where the body is submerged into a vat of 200f water and potassium hydroxide solution until all is left is the Skeleton which is then crushed up and givin to the family (an Australian company is doing this). The other thing they talked about was "Body Farming" this is where people donate there bodies for the purpose of science so that the process of human decomposition can be studied. I've been very interested in the Green Burial movement so this was an interesting show to say the least.
