All my life I have avoided surgery like the plague. The idea of being put under absolutely terrifies me. I know this is going to sound crazy, but what I am most terrified of is the fact that I might not wake up. I mean what if something goes wrong?? Surgery is surgery and all surgery has risks.</P> <P>I am a mess. I had nightmares last night and woke up crying. I am sick to my stomach with worry.
