The Top Fast Food Resturants -- Poll

In a report released Tuesday, the ACSI asked more than 5,000 customers their opinions on fast-food chains and compiled a list of the best and the worst. Chick-fil-A finished in first place, with the highest score ever given to a fast-food chain, and Chipotle, also making its debut on the list, finishing close behind.

Unfortunately for the Golden Arches, McDonald’s finished in last place for the sixth year in a row.

According to the ACSI, the top six fast-food restaurants are:

1. Chick-fil-A
2. Chipotle
3. Panera
4. Dunkin’ Donuts
5. Pizza Hut
5. Papa John’s

The bottom six are:

1. McDonald’s
2. Jack in the Box
3. Burger King
4. Taco Bell
5. Wendy’s
6. KFC

From that list, I only eat from Panera.

I don't get the big deal with Chick-fil-A. I think it's horrible.

Since I rarely go for fast food, I chose Chick-fil-A.

I hate KFC, but I really do like Wendy's and some of Taco Bell. Chick-Fil-A is really good and I like Panera too.

The only one I would patronize today is Panera........ But, I really don't consider Panera as fast food.

I won't set foot in a Chik-fil-A. I like Chipotle, Mama Fu's, Pei-Wei, and Panera.

Austin is also home to some small local burger chains that rival In-N-Out burger for quality and employee benefits. If you're ever in Austin, Tx, check out P. Terry's and Mighty Fine Burgers. All of the P. Terry's stores feature fantastic Googie architecture and look like diners straight out of the atomic era of the 1950s.

It might be a little bit of a stretch, but I consider Starbuck's a fast food place.

They have breakfast and light-lunch options.

Going off that list, my favorite is Panera.
Chick-Fil-A is just average to me
I've never eaten at Chipotle, but have heard good things about it.
I don't know how PapaJohn's made the cut. Around here, it's not good.

Donuts and coffee are about as fast as you can get. Looks like they consider any place you order at the counter a "fast food" place.

Based on this list, I'm going to say that Prolific is more important than Popular. I can name 5 burger chains better than any on this list, but none of them are nationwide. In-N-Out Burgers and Five Guys are way better than any of the burger places on this list, but they're not found in every city, every mall, and on every other block like the major places are.

Dunkin Donuts has breakfast sandwiches and some other sandwiches. They have bagel sandwiches too, I think. I've never ordered one, but they look decent.

I was surprised about Dunkin' Donuts (I tried their breakfast food and it was ok but I wouldn't rank it in the top five) and I am not a fan of Papa John's. I used to think there wasn't a pizza on the planet that I wouldn't like but unfortunately I found one.

It could have been that particular store as it closed a few months later and a Little Ceasar's has been very successful in the same location.

Rarely eat out since cooking at home is much healthier!

The few times that we do, Chick-fil-a and Panera are about it. I know neither are particularly healthy choices, but they're still good!

I saw that poll and wondered how accurate it was
or if it means anything
since LITTLE CAESARS PIZZA is in their TOP 10. Weird.

I think Chick-fil-A's food is blah.
