Richard Matt has been shot and seriously wounded by law enforcement, knowledgeable law-enforcement sources tell The Daily Beast. One of the two escaped murderers, Matt was shot in the vicinity of Lake Titus, New York—an area that has been intensely searched by authorities in recent days. The Buffalo News confirms that Matt has been shot and "may be dead."

This is VERY good news!

I've been worried that they keep telling the media too much stuff about clues and where they're searching, etc, giving them too much opportunity to know where to avoid.

I have a feeling the other one will be caught soon, too.
