I read she is on evine. Is she a host or a vendor?. I don't watch that program, but I would watch her in a heart beat. I think she is the best host Q ever had..

Kathy is more of a behind the senes person. She writes a blog once in awhile on their website and page. When Evine first lauched in NYC this past winter, she was on air a few times.

This is just a guess but the Channel is named eVINE and I always assumed that part of her name was used (LeVINE) because she has some kind of control there (partial ownership perhaps?).... Like I said, just an assumption and sure could be wrong.....

I agree with you, Cherry, that Kathy was the best host. But the whole tv shopping thing was new to me. I bought so much jewelry back then.

Kathy is so funny. I am facebook friends with her and she writes the most joyful and funny stories. I think she is more a business partner of some sort of EVINE. Hence the name Levine/EVINE She was magic as a host, and with Joan she was pure magic. I miss them both. No one nowadays holds a candle to the joy those two created on air.

Cherry, Kathy was my favorite host. I was surprised her clothing line and jewlery lines were such flops. (and awful) There was a lot of speculation that EVINE is so close to Kathy's last name.

I like their channel and am a fan of a few productline they sell. They sell a few good pieces of Waterford since becoming Evine and I've bought one piece per month.

Kathy is on very seldom. I do not see any real changes at Evine. Seems like same, same.

Thanks for the explanation. I''ve wondered if KL was involved because of the name.

KL and Joan Rivers really were pure entertainment years ago.

They may say the name doesn't have anything to do with Kathy but I thought it was interesting when I was watching one day and the host pronounced Evine with the Vin sound like Kathy says Levine. That seems coincidental to me. Then she later said Evine with the long i sound as in vine.

Most of my QVC jewelry purchases were the result Kathy's ability to sell. With the cost of solid gold, and my dislike of the hollow or gold-plated pieces, I'm glad I did purchase in the good old days when QVC sold a lot of quality jewelry.

Yes, it does have to with "vines," short running media. E stands for , electronic transactions conducted on the internet? Like E commerce.

I think the name is just a coincidence. There's no indication whatsoever that she is involved in Evine financially or managerily. Originally she said she had traveled a lot and would b sourcing new products and commenting on them. So far, that doesn't seem to have happened. She's shown up at a few social functions and that's about it.

I liked all the hosts from long ago.

Remember when they'd put a clock up and you had to order during the posted time? It was nice when they finally allowed us to order anytime, not just when the item was presented.

A disclaimer that I never watched her on QVC. I have been watching for 10 years, and she was already gone.

I believe she DOES have a lot to do with evine channel. I happened to watch when they did the name change.

They had shows from New York, and showed interviews with her frequently.

So I think she surely is involved with that channel.
