Board Monitors - Please answer questions about posting photos.

We want to know how to post photos using an iPad. If you don't know or have determined it can't be done, please tell us! A lot of people are waiting for this information.

Yes, and please tell us when the other features will be available to iPad users, eg quoting, the toolbar generally, and viewing discussion in a popup feature.

The only improvement I've discovered for pad users is that we can now do paragraphs. This is a lot of hassle for that small gain. The whole world of casual users is going to pads. You'd think they'd make accommodations for pad users (or quit selling them).

I feel your pain about photos. When I want to post photos, I have had to return to my old computer. Even there, I have to use Firefox or Chrome. I suspect that maybe the IT folks are just learning about the iPad issues here. I cannot believe that they left us out on purpose. However, the iPad issues are not unusual. I taught online classes until I retired a few weeks ago. Our learning management platforms did not "accept" posts from iPhones or iPads. I agree that many have shifted to tablets/iPads or just phones. So, I have my fingers crossed that the glitch will be addressed soon on these forums.

I tried to post an avatar, and got the message "authentification Failed" or maybe it was"failed to authenticate" what would this mean? It was a picture taken by me!

I miss my iPad options and wish they would stop treating iPad users like they're not important.

I just discovered a very old post where I had an iPad posted picture and the picture "migrated" over just fine. Does that mean there is hope?
