Yes, I'm getting used to it and it's fine--except for the Gamers in Community Chat. That's a big deal. They need their own forum. They took up 2 1/2 pages this morning.

Is there a way to set how many replies are on a thread. It seems like such wasted space to only have a few before page 2.

I can't figure it out.

I logged in today through Chrome and it's much, much better.

My biggest issue is the old threads that were moved to the top and new threads that just disappeared.

It will all work out eventually. I figure I'll get this figured out and it will be time for another upgrade.

And it's hard to read.

I don't want to use gigantic font in colors, I wish they would darken and resize it up a bit.

Yes, there is. Go into your settings...then click on edit my perferences... then Linear Layout... then on Posts per topic, backspace to clear the # and enter 25 (which is what I entered) or whatever # you choose. Don't forget to click the save button on the bottom of the page.

Yes, go to My Preferences, then Linear Layout and Topic Layout. ( I changed everything to 50.) Be sure to hit SAVE.

Really? So can you now see all the replies to all your posts? Easily load pictures if using a Mac? See how many views a post you created has, etc?

Yes to the first part. The other two I'm not sure about. Yesterday I pasted a paragraph from something written by the Q team stating that they were working on the My Activity feature. Eventually we should just be able to click on a nic rather than the current convoluted method.

Yes, we all read that but "working on it" means nothing to me. With every bit of exploration of this new iteration I find one more thing that makes no sense, is counter-intutive and user-unfriendly or flat out doesn't work. This used to be my fun place to come at the end of the day; now it's a place to avoid.

I use IE and now have a much cleaner looking page. I also have dots, a tool bar and who knows what else?

Now that the Gamers have found a place of their own, I am happy enough with the new BBs.

I still have to learn how to hunt up threads I can't see on p. 1. And I have old posts recorded on my profile but only one of about 6 posts made yesterday. Small stuff.

The ABC posts were really making it hard to see page 1 and it already looks much better now. When the switch is fully implemented it will be back to being as normal as this Forum ever is.
