Clearly, whomever came up with this "improvement" has no idea what they are doing!!

So ... what happened to VIEWPOINTS ?

Is there a way to access the old Viewpoints ???

Viewpoints seems to be gone with the wind. So I think this is the new Viewpoints.

Maybe they thought if they got rid of "Viewpoints", and called it "Community Chat", that we would be more inclined to have nice, friendly, over the back fence type of chats, rather than sharing our true viewpoints, which have on some rare occasions turned contentious.

A rose by any other name...This is viewpoints. Who cares what they call it? Although I agree, I wish they had sub-categories (like games) as they did before. First world problems.

I'm thinking this must be the replacement for Viewpoints. I don't know why they would change it and I'm disappointed. VP was the section I always checked first when I would check the forums. I don't usually complain when the Q changes something, but this time, I AM complaining!

The "new and improved" just plain hurts my eyes! Too much white space. Maybe I'll get used to it over time, but for now, I'm really disappointed in the changes.

I think according to the new standards put in place yesterday, that Viewpoints, as we knew it, is long gone. They will no longer tolerate aggressive debating and a person risks being banned if they break the standards. It is pretty clear that these "changes" were in direct response to all the negativity that often occured when some subjects were discussed.
