When you mess up you do it BIG time. What were you thinking by eliminating sub-forums, not porting over current threads and putting the general reply button at the top of the page for those that want to reply to the OP/topic and not a specific poster?

While some of the changes are appreciated the layout and functioning is atrocious.

Could not agree with you more, Marp! This whole setup reminds me of *old,old* forums & some of the options are ridiculously juvenile. 'Hearting' & tagging & popularity contests? REALLY, Q?

I'll just post what I wrote on another thread.

I agree, the way they attempted to transfer existing threads didn't work. It's extremely hard to find the threads we want. I'm guessing the lack of sub-forums is a result of that transfer -- if they had set up a brand new "clean forum" without any of the old threads, we might be seeing sub-forums.

But that's just a guess. I've only been looking and trying to "tour" the site for a few minutes and so far I've seen an ancient thread from years ago mixed in with the new ones... they did a very, very bad job of porting the old forum over to this one.

In addition, while they offer a myriad of settings they're going to take a bit of trial and error, without good, detailed help text to accompany the settings.

I'll add that I also miss the "My Activity" feature. I used that frequently, to catch up on threads I'd been interested in.

What a fine mess we have here...

Why do they want our email addresses anyway? To sell the list to other vendors? This is a new low for them and pretty sure its going to be used for some kind of profit center. Why not spend the money sorting out the atrocious order tracking, shipping, and quality control? How about changing Customer Service back like the old days when you actually got SERVICE? Proof Positive that they still are clueless.

I agree it's basically a mess, but I like the font options and the availabilty to just view the new messages on a thread. I seee there a choice to change font color but it's not working for me.

I think my screen is still "bouncing too".

The font colors, sizes and varieties are fun. Wish you could set a default one so you don't have to re-do it with each post.

QVC has the worst IT department of any corporation in the US----and they are an on-line shopping company!!! How is that possible? Apparently the CEO, BOD, President and all Sr VP's haven't a clue either to allow this to happen. We have all simply tolerated the sub par shopping/viewing experience for so long, but now this new change really makes it simply intolerable! They have no understanding of what the consumer wants, not do they seem care. What a frightful mess!

This new forum design seems too general in categories and too specific in navigating around. Its like I'm not sure how hard I want to work to find threads thAt interest me. Sure it's new and takes time to adjust ;but this just seems all kinds of odd.

I think it's just a matter of getting used to something new. It's different, but seems more 21st century to me. Once you take your time and look around, it's not bad.

I did post an avatar from my computer but someone said it could be traced back to your personal PC. I don't know. I googled the image and it was not found on the internet. But I do think anyone can copy your image avatar so if you don't want anyone to use it, don't use one from your uploaded images.

Now, other than that, how do we know if someone repiled to our post?

Well, I didn't know what to expect, but this is beyond horrible. I've lived through plenty of upgrades here, but this one wins hands down for the worst one.

Notice how Mom to Mom that gets few posts was kept while Viewpoints got banished. Hearting is guaranteed to provoke cringing from coast to coast. I can only believe that Q hates us.
