I have a special occasion coming up this summer. I'm perusing the shoes on Zappos and I like these two. Which would you choose for a formal occasion (inside)?

Geez, they are both sharp. I would probably go with #1 - closed toe pump - so I could wear all 4 seasons. It gets cold in Michigan and I avoid peep toes when it's cold.

Seriously - both are sharp and I don't see how you could lose with either.

I like them both. For me it would be the first one, but I'm older than you. I'm sure my daughter would choose the second. Edited to say as long as you can walk gracefully in the second lol

I vote for the first one because it's more classic and will not require a pedicure.

I know. I am looking for a decent dupe but those are hard to find where Tom is concerned.

The first is a classic style, while the second is more current. Our DIL has a shoe very much like the second and I remember she said the edge of the peep toe rubbed her big toe raw.

Neither look comfortable. The second shoe looks cheap, sorry.

The Tom Ford shoes are okay for a hooker or dominatrix. Otherwise they're tacky looking. To each his own.
