Boston Bomber found guilty on all counts!!!

ITA. The real drama will be if he's put to death or allowed to live in prison for the rest of his life.

I don't know but I am so glad they found him guilty. Now they will have to decide if he faces the death penalty.

I figured that he would be guilty on all 30 counts. Not sure if I want him dead or alive. If I had my way he would be tortured, but I guess that's not legal. I do hope the victims and their families do find some peace with this decision.

The trial was never about whether he did it. The defense admitted he did it. What else could they do. There was too much evidence. The defense from the beginning presented the case so as to avoid the death penalty, which is the next phase. It would probably be cheaper for tax payers if he got life with no parole as if he gets death, it can be appealed clear up to the supreme court which takes years.

I agree with you.

Life w/o parole would be fine with me and would take less time and money.

That's okay. They hate our guts anyway. We could let him go and they would still hate us and try to destroy us.

I agree with you.

The problem with that is that a prisoner can still do a lot of damage while in prison. There are networks and all kinds of ways they can continue their terrorist ways. This kid has another 50-60 years of life ahead of him. He can do a lot of damage and be a mentor to a lot of other prisoners during that time.

On the other hand, if he is executed, he will be a martyr to his fellow jihadists. I just hope that the right decision will be made, whatever it is.

WAsn't talking to you. It was something else that was said that was aimed at the prisoner.

I think we should be more concerned with him influencing others in prison and trying to convert them to a perverted, extreme form of Islam. This is how many are recruited. He will be serving life but he could potentially rub elbows with other inmates who are not serving life and might be ripe for the conversion.

This will probably be deleted, the verdict is no surprise but I doubt he'll be put to death.
