I don't think we are going anyplace this summer. Possibly Georgia in the fall but nothing definite yet.

llikeshade, I'm not sure what we'll do for vacation this summer. I'd like to rent a place at the shore (NJ or a little farther south) but that remains to be seen. My older son would probably enjoy bringing his gf and her 2 kids with us so I'll have to start checking into that soon.

Other than that, I hope to rack up some major trail riding hours for my riding club and we'll maybe take a road trip for fun.

Can't wait for warm weather!

we are at the beach for a few days to do some minor maintenance and check-up on our condo. it wasnt THAT warm......nice, but very windy......but very relaxing AND we got the chance to get to some restaurants that are usually packed during the busy season.

No, during the summer everyone comes to us!

We have three beach houses we rent out so this is my busy season from now (cleaning, yardwork and some touch up painting). We don't really go anywhere so that we can be on hand. It usually winds down mid September.

It's been in the 70's and we will be getting some rainy days in the next week or so. Good for the shrubs. It did get cold this winter and we had flurries, no accumulations really.

But as always, summertime....bring it!

Anywhere that's very well air-conditioned, via a very well-conditioned vehicle LOL. My wacky bod can't handle heat (or humidity above 39%).

But I'll actually just be trying to chill- literally!- at home. 8)

As a NJ native familiar with the Shore, start researching now just in case. It gets booked up wayyy ahead in advance.

We've planned a trip to Alabama to visit my grandparents. The last time we were there was a hurricane on the way which put a damper on it. I'm hoping the weather will cooperate this time.

kalli.....make i suggest the delmarva area?......in particular the delaware and maryland shores. check out rehoboth beach if you like to be in a busy walkable area OR bethany beach if you want a beautiful yet a bit more quiet area.

I have a backyard pool...And we also go down to the Jersey shore, cape may or Atlantic city.
