Does anyone else see a significant difference in Pat's teeth today -- goodness, they are SO WHITE it is almost blinding to me!!

I tried to watch for a few minutes but didn't see a close up. Reminds me of the Friends episode when Ross got his teeth whitened.

Haven't noticed Pat, but earlier today I noticed a major difference in the It Cosmetics model's before and after: Her teeth are obviously whiter in the "after" photo compared to the "before" photo, but the demo was all about makeup.

I think there is a faux tanner coming up as a TSV....wonder if she tried it? Her face is too dark and looks a little orange-y.

Extremely white teeth are one of my pet peeves. I've noticed that Antonella's are overly white. Most recently I've noticed that Chip on the HGTV show Fixer Upper has had his made blindingly white. Didn't see Pat today.

Some people's teeth are too white and really fake looking.

Two examples are Paula Deen and NeNe .

I know they both have verneers but they don't look natural at all.

I noticed Chip on Fixer Upper. I think he got his choppers fixed with veneers or something. I didn't notice Pat's, but NeNe and Paula Deen for sure. White teeth make you look younger, but a lot of people overdo it and then they look fake for sure.

I don't think I've seen that show, Fixer Upper.

Another thing is people want their teeth extra white and long or big .

I thought of two more... Melissa Gorga (h/w)and Chumlee from Pawn Stars.

Gorga's teeth were white before but now they are whitened to the nth degree and Chumlee got overly white, large veneers.

I don't watch much anymore so I don't know.

But about white teeth in general. I think its just so weird how all the famous people who sing and are in movies and on television shows have their teeth TOO white. No ones teeth are that white in the real world. They should have clean healthy teeth and regularly colored teeth. When they are as white as snow and obviously they all have veneers etc (no one has perfect teeth like all these older stars) it just looks so fake.

In the REAL world healthy teeth look nice the way they are.

Probably I am in the minority here but I think people should look like people not dolls (that goes for too much botox etc etc that looks fake).

This post has nothing to do with Pat. I just thought Id mention how I feel about too white of teeth in general. But I guess Im in the minority? lol.

My husband and son share a dental practice. At one time they did teeth whitening in the office but they now refer patients to a cosmetic dentist. For some patients it was almost an addition. They would pay a lot to whiten their teeth yet would not pay to have cavities taken care of.

Fixer Upper is in its second or third year. Joanna, Chip's wife, pretty much carries the show.
