You Get What You Pay For. . .

$3.00 shipping doesn't always get the item to the customer! I've already ordered two hefty-priced jewelry items and both got lost in the shipping process. First, the order entry person didn't put in the shipping mode in the order info. So, when trying to track a lost item, you can't trace it. QVC has already replace one ring--a 1/2 carat Affinity diamond. They've also lost my gold bar ring for which "no tracking information is available."

yikes! How frustrating!

I've been talking myself out of purchases quite a bit lately. I don't like the hassle of having to return stuff.

Me too. I can't buy clothing and have to pay so much to send it back, plus pay the cost of shipping too. Too much waste. I'll go shopping locally and save a bundle.

The $3 shipping is a great deal if you know you're going to keep what you buy. Otherwise, pfffffffffftttttt.

I know the price to return almost forces you to keep the lower priced items now.

I just returned a $30 item today. It will cost me $6.95 PLUS the original S&H just to try it on. Not gonna happen many more times. No deals here.

It's not a great deal if they have raised the price of the item by $6.

That's why I shop at Chico's. The shipping is free and I can return the item to the store.

I just don't understand why QVC can't offer free S&H for orders over a certain amount, like Amazon and others. I can find the same items elsewhere, for better prices 99% of the time. QVC better come up with a 'good' idea to make them stand above their competition.

S&H truly is a big reason why I don't do much shopping on line! It's no so bad if the item works out, but if not, then you have to incur even more expense. It just really makes me angry. A good deal, after all of this, doesn't turn out to be such a good deal!!!
