It isn't a laughing matter. Most of the produce in the country comes from CA. I'll bet people won't be laughing when your prices go way up.

It doesn't seem fair that we got so much snow this winter and CA is having a drought. Those photos are incredible. Hope it rains there soon.

We just traveled up I-5 through California and it was deceptively green. We didn't get much snow pack here in Washington either.

Yeah, crazy weather. Some places getting too much water, & what about all that snow runoff? Other places not getting enough. I'd sure send them some if I could.

I thought I heard yesterday that there was only enough water to last for 6 days in one certain area......not sure where that is, but that is really sad.

California is not the only state in dire need of rain.......Texas is too...... In the San Antonio and Austin area they are in drought conditions........

I didn't know that, ShowMe! Thanks for mentioning it. It must be very serious for Texas, too, what with all the ranches and cattle.

Yes, that is true......very dry down there......Texas also does quite a bit of produce too. So, we will be getting hit from the west and south in our grocery stores.

My sister and I were talking about that yesterday on the phone. She was telling me how her grocery bill totaled yesterday, and I told her mine was about the same. You can hardly buy anything anymore for less than $1......

Things are bad. I would be a nice and sizeable project if the
USA built canals intersecting various states and their excess water to deliver to the states that are dry. Would also give folks jobs as well.

Don't want the trees, plants, and shrubs to die out as they take in pollutants and give us much needed clean air.
