PILOT DELIBERTLY CRASHED PLANE.

How do we combat this type of evil? How do we know when a person has no respect for human life? Why is someone so crazy they would want to kill all those people not to mention the children?

Turn on the news. The prosecutor just said these words in the title. They know this was deliberate act. I don't believe this is mental illness. I believe this is a person who is driven by evil intentions and wanted to kill all those people.

They are definitely making it sound that way. The news I have on says they heard him breathing until the end. They don't make it sound like there was any action to correct a malfunctioning plane or letting the pilot back in. Read he was a 28 years old German citizen, which seems so young but I guess a pilot needs to start somewhere to get all the hours.

Oh how awful - just heard them say you could hear screaming from the pilot and passengers.

He was only in his late 20's. Obviously he was on some sort of mission. Whether suicide or terrorism, he deliberately crashed the plane otherwise had he passed out the plane would not have slowly descended the way it did. It would have just stayed on it original course.

Who else tried to open the cockpit door and found it was locked?Was the door found in tact locked? We don't know enough, the person in the cockpit was heard breathing but he could have been unable to speak.

The cockpit door has a coded entry. The code didn't work. It had been changed therefore the other pilot was trying to kick the door in.

No way would I fly today..this is SO sad, those students, infants..families..can you imagine the last moments of fear??..I can only imagine the panic! Bless their hearts..!

Ita! One thing, I doubt the co-pilot is in paradise like he imagined! (Like the kamikaze pilots in WWII!) They said they didn't think he was a terrorist..what else could it have been??

This is the first picture to emerge of the Germanwings co-pilot believed to have killed 150 people on Germanwings flight 4U9525.

Andreas Lubitz, the 28-year-old German co-pilot of the doomedGermanwings plane deliberately slammed the jet into the ground after locking himself in the cockpit.

The horrifying full account of the planes' final 10 minutes were confirmed by Marseilles prosecutor Bryce Robin at a press conference today.

He told reporters: "We have managed to get the transcript of the last 30 minutes.

"In the first 20 minutes the pilots talk in a normal fashion being courteous with each other like two normal pilots during a flight.

"Then we hear the command asking the co-pilot to take over and we hear the sound of a chair being pushed back and a door closing. So we assume that he went to the loo or something.

"So the copilot at that moment is on his own in charge of the plane and it's while hes alone... that he uses the flight monitoring system which starts the descent of the aeroplane.

"This action on this attitude selection can only be done voluntarily."

He doesn't know his ethnicity or his religion, but says "I don't think that's where the answer to this lies."

I don't know which pilot to fault, but if either was making a statement I'd like to know what the heck it was to account(if you ever could)for all this.
