"It wasn't easy....I didn't ask for it.....I didn't want it." That I'm sure is the attitude that she gave off during deliberations....I would have more respect for her if she would have given it a hundred percent. However, it's over ....people need to move on and stop with the death threats.

I understand this juror is receiving death threats. In what universe do these whackos think it's OK to threaten death in a MURDER case. Murder is murder or do they think murdering a juror doesn't count????

Did you happen to see the "Our America" with Lisa Ling where she speaks to the relatives of notorious criminals who were either executed or sentenced to life? (The unibomber's brother was one, the daughter of a serial killer was another)

I watched it yesterday (rerun) and it was one of the saddest things I've ever seen.

I remember that you wanted to check out Lisa Ling's shows, so I thought of you when I read your comment.

Is this the juror who refused to deliberate and so forth? I recall some other issues with her that should have disqualified her. Also, you are supposed to be "death penalty qualified" to serve on a death penalty jury. If a person is against the death penalty, they should say so before they serve on a dp jury.

Disgraceful that she is being threatened. Can't wrap my mind around that.

I have mixed feelings about the dp. Should be reserved for the worst of the worst if it is going to be the law of the land and Jodi Arias fits that criteria.

If she doesn't deserve the dp, nobody does.

And that's MY opinion.

There is no excuse for making death threats. It's despicable and there are laws to deal with people who make them.

Of course a threat and actual murder are two different things, and as one who is actually convicted of premeditated first degree murder, Jodi spent her day on Saturday laughing and video chatting with her fans from around the world. She spent twenty minutes each, with twenty-seven different people mugging for photos which were later posted on social media. I especially like the one of her with the Hershey bar--so cute, and it's nice to know she's not going without sweets.

I wonder though, if a convicted murder is punished with nine hours of video chatting and candy bars, what would be the punishment for a threat? A lollipop and movie thickets?

I bet there was at least one juror who went in wanting the DP before he/she heard a word of testimony.

It's impossible, IMO, to find people totally unbiased.

Twelve people have to vote unanimously for the DP for a reason...it SHOULD be a hard choice, rarely used.

The system worked as it should. Juror #17 had the right to her vote, just as the other 11 did.

As far as the juror goes, I believe someone said it's Juan's fault for not removing her. If that's the case, and Juan bears that responsibility, then juror 17 is responsible for putting herself in the public eye knowing there would be backlash regarding her deception and refusal to deliberate.

Her stark cell on Lumley will be the same one whether she got life or death, I doubt she will ever be able to keep her nose clean enough to earn any priviledges if sentenced to LWOP.

She has a friend waiting for her, her name is Angela Simpson, google her Murderpedia page and then watch the link below. 2 peas in a pod they will be, literally. I think they are the only 2 that will be housed in their particular section but friendship will be from seperate ends of the corridor...

Quite possible, but at least they didn't refuse to deliberate.

Hi SusieQ ltns, I thought Sheriff Joe took her priviledges away for 6 weeks, I wonder what his change of heart was due to, I guess I will google and see what up with that.

I still havent read the jury 17 link, got sidetracked. I read there is scuttlebutt about her being related somehow to Maria Dela Rosa (sp), I think that is her name, Jodi's court advocate or whatever you call that gal that sits next to her in court all day holding her stabby hand.
