Well, speaking for myself, I wouldn't have bought their stuff before anyway, and most definitely won't now. So nothing has changed for me. Good for Elton, though. I'm glad he spoke out against the bigotry.

Yes they are gay. And no, they are not in jail for tax evasion.

Elton has his moments, but he has a very huge heart and does wonderful work for his and other's AIDS charities.

I don't blame them one bit for boycotting Dolce and Gabbana. I think they will lose many of their wealthy customers and associates over this article.

I'm not reading it.....I love Light Blue too much and not giving it up. I would also hate to think who many lives would be affected by a boycott. I'm sure there are many people who depend on them for a paycheck and providing for their families.

Theyve been sentenced to one year in jail, but they are appealing. They owe back taxes to the Italian government.

my facebook feed is blowing up with this story......and from the comments and posts i am seeing now it is overwhelmingly in support of eltons stance. i was watching watch what happens lie and andy cohen was also upset by what they said.

It is terrible when you live in a world that is becoming Godless. Where you can't state God's beliefs for fear of a boycott or a celebrity trying to destroy your business. I too believe a family is the one described in scripture. Man, woman and children. Just because Elton John deviates from what is God's description of family doesn't mean his idea is correct.

It seems to me that the world is calling that which is good, evil and wants the world to accept what is evil to be good. Oh, I forgot, God said it would be that way toward the end.

How would Elton feel if people boycotted his music because of his bi-se-xuality? Dolce and Gabbana are free to believe what they want and Elton is free to do what he pleases.

I copied a portion of a comment from one of Dolce and Gabbana's fans and I agree:

" I agree with Dolce and Gabbana you can love who you want to love but a fruitful relationship is between a man a woman..... They had a view that they believed in just like you believe in what you believe in. Elton John how dare you bash someone else's livelihood for what they believe. It's there belief, no one goes around boycotting you for what you believe in and your choices."

I read the article on the train this morning. I have to say that I can't recall when I last heard something that was so nasty, mean, cruel and just plain wrong. It's hard to believe that in this day and age people could be so bigotted and backwards. I don't think I have ever bought anything from their brand but I know, from this day forward, I would never buy anything from the brand. It was more than just having a view on a particular subject, it was un-necessarily nasty and ignorant.
