Has your dog ever had a WART?

If so, how long did it take to go away?

Did you do anything special or did it just fade away on it's own?

My sisters dog had one on his head. They had it surgically removed.

My dog has one on her leg and several small ones behind her ears. I always have them looked at to make sure they are just warts and not cancer. The vet can remove them if you want or they bother the dog. I chose to let it go since my dog is senior and it doesn't bother her anymore. Sometimes they are itchy.

I have never seen one go away on it's own.

As dogs age, they have a tendency to get wart-like growths. They don't go away nor are they dangerous. Just leave it alone; it's part of aging.

Our dog lived to be almost 16 years old, and was prone to cysts and warts. I always had the vet check them out. Once or twice, he had to have a cyst drained. But our vet said they were part of old age, and weren't a big deal.
