What's In Your Purse ?

What's in your Purse? I just got done cleaning out my purse. It's just amazing how so many things get put in there. Typically I have a wallet, make-up case, keys, phone, mini iPad . Also a bottle of water, granola bars, crackers. Etc etc.... Ok everything but the kitchen sink as they say lol. Thank goodness for big bags.

Wallet, tissues in a small case, phone, comb, lipstick, 7 power small mirror *because I cannot for life of me see myself to put on lipstick* keys and a handful of coupons for Lord and Taylor and Macys. Also a pair of reading glasses and sunglasses.

I carry as little as possible.

Wallet, Burt's Bees tinted lip balm, small notebook, pen, gum, cleansing wipe for eyeglasses and maybe sunglasses. I'm trying to remember to charge my cellphone and then to actually take it with me.

Not a lot. I wear a small cross body bag.

A small wallet, keys, cell phone goes in the zipper compartment. That's about it. However, by the end of the week, I have a gazillion receipts in it!

DH always told me that if your purse ever gets stolen, your entire life will change as well as your identity. He would handle many purse snatchings and the women would be crying their eyes out saying, "I had my kids baby pictures in there, my wedding picture, my SS card....." Why? Travel light ladies. You never know.

I have downsized lately and usually I just carry a wristlet.

It has a comb, my phone, some bills and a credit card and license.

Wallet, diaper wipes (no baby, but so handy for many things, still), hand sanitizer, phone, pen, mirror, manicure kit, hand cream, chap stick, pill case with otc's and zycam, tissues, couple of band aids and neosporin, small hairbrush, small flashlight, coupons (don't use a lot, so just a few at a time in the front zippered pocket), and sometimes a granola bar and water. Seems more like a bug out bag than a traditional woman's purse!

Sounds like a lot, but no makeup, so that saves space, and I tend to prefer a fabric bag like Vera Bradley because they are so light, even when packed full.

Off the top of my head--lip balm, lipstick, concealer, eyelash curler, powder, sunscreen, Tatcha blotting sheets, comb, pen, note pad, wallet for cash, two card cases (atm to gift cards), keyring with loyalty cards, keyring for safe dep. box, keyring for car keys, keyring for house (never kept with any other keys for security reasons), phone, baby wipes, coupons, sunglasses, reading glasses, Splenda and sugar-free cough drops.

I really hate lugging a lot with me. I keep it simple: wallet, phone, pen, kleenex, hand gel, lip balm, keys, glasses. If I'm going to be gone all day on a trip or shopping, I'll put a protein bar in there. Otherwise that's it.

I carry very little with me in my actual purse (more in my briefcase/tote that I take to the office).

I find big, bulky bags to be clumsy and awkward. Unless I was going on a trip or something, I find no reason to carry everything I own with me for a few hours of shopping with friends or a dinner date with the hubby.
