Verdict watch - J.Arias

Nothing is happening in the courtroom as far as a verdict goes right now but the live channel is interesting. There's a live feed of comments too which is pretty funny and entertaining.

A little while ago the reporter(Troy) from Fox10 who interviewed JA after the guilty verdict was on & was answering some questions that people were asking live then he took off for the courtroom for a press conference that will air soon.

They take station breaks here and there showing an aerial view of the station towers and it's raining there, very dark and gloomy so people were commenting that the infamous "fog" was hovering.

I just cannot feel sympathy of any kind for that female. She was an evil predator through and through.

Troy, the reporter who interviewed her was talking about how she thinks she can manipulate everyone and every situation and that's why the guards are told not to talk to her at all .

About 2 more hours of deliberation time for the jury to go for today.

Slow day.

No questions, no "clues"

One false report of a verdict by a troll on twitter that got a lot of people going.

Oh, and people are NASTY on twitter. Jodi people, "Travis" people-- NASTY (some, many, not all)

She will LOVE getting the DP - more motions, more excitement for Jodi!

Jodi and her family have stated, many times, that they will (attempt to) appeal ANY sentence.

She is not going away, no matter. It is not in her to go quietly.

There is a woman, Kelly Gissendaner, who is scheduled to be executed tonight at 7:00 in the state of Georgia. If that happens, she will be the first woman to be executed in Georgia in 70 years.

Prosecutors said she convinced her boyfriend to kill her husband when she was in her late 20s. She is now 46 years old. Her execution was originally scheduled for last week, but was postponed due to severe weather.

If the execution goes forward as planned, Gissendaner will be the 16th woman nationwide to be put to death since the Supreme Court reinstated the death penalty in 1976.

If the DP stays in force in the US (not all states, I know), then expect more women to receive the sentence and be executed.

Gender differences are lessening in crime and punishment. Women are more violent, and people are holding them accountable without regard to their gender more now.

I attribute this to younger generations having less gender "differences"

There are plenty for her to attempt. I am not saying she will succeed, but she can tie up the courts and the taxpayers for a long time.

She can appeal issues from the first trial (guilt phase) AND the retrial of the penalty phase.
