I agree with the quote. Know ourselves. Be kind and empathetic with others, no need to understand anyone else's life choices not only because their path isn't ours but because what is Is. The past can't be modified.

If one is unkind, you can actually hurt someone.

I think some people don't take that into consideration.

I think you get very little understanding here and in general. No one really wants to get involved that closely, where they would understand. Takes too much effort. We want one click answers to questions. And we all want validation to the extent that we consider only what we are looking for, showing callous disregard for all the rest of the potential incoming.

I agree with you. There are so many things we cannot post and probably should not on a public forum. No one's life here is perfect. There was a subject on here that I could feel the woman's pain because it is something I have experienced many times. I did not contribute because to do so on a public forum might have put someone I know out there and I knew that person would not like it should they ever find out. The first part of this quote I agree with...not so sure about the 2nd part .
