Did anyone notice (I'm sure you did) Evine vendors

I've been doing the channel surfing & noticed: Previously on QVC Kathy Levine, Marc Bower, Paula Deen, Carson Presley, HSN: Todd English, David's Cookies now Devine Treats rep, Scotto Family, Chris Scanlon, I'm sure there are others to come (or ones I didn't see) but I noticed Waterford has a new rep. I really didn't see anything great about this event just my opinion. I've only purchased 1 thing from this channel previously.

Really? I think more of them came from HSN? I know Paula Deen was on QVC...but never bought any of her things.

I did buy some cookie jars (filled with treats) from David's Cookies on HSN. I liked everything I bought from this line. I'll have to check this out.

I wonder about the DEVINE treats rep and if this is a new line she's repping for a David's cookies selling under a different label? David's Cookies are still being sold on HSN.

It just seems that EVINE is just knocking off whole product lines from HSN and slapping their own new labels on things.

According to CEO Mark Bozek in an interview, link below, he thinks the key to success will be in creating proprietary brands, things that can only be bought there.

To me, that is just code for slapping their label on already-existing products, like you mentioned. I hope they are successful, but I don't get all that excited just because something is promoted as being exclusive.

Is Todd English the guy who used to be on QVC with his mother and her meatballs? I remember one guy who always had his mother and her meatballs on the Q. All of a sudden, 'mama' and her meatballs disappeared. Shortly, the cook disappeared. Was it Todd? If not, does anyone recall who it was and what happened to him and mamma? Just curious. I haven't watched ShopNBC ( or their other names) in years but I just tuned in and did not recognize Connie Kunkle at all. She looks totally different to me. She used to be so attractive but now seems to have changed in lot, especially in the eye area.

They mentioned that you can make requests for flavors for candy and popcorn. But that has always been. For jewelry especially. I like most of the hosts. The only one that is hard to listen to is Lynn shocker. She talks so fast she slurs.

Thank you. I thought I was the only one. To me she sounds like she has marbles in her mouth. I can't understand anything she says.

I totally agree. If their krap had been selling well on QVC or HSN , they would have never been dropped by those networks.
