I'm not up on today's music scene. So, I didn't really know any of these new artists. Boy, I thought Sam Smith resembles Boy George.

I think that next year, someone should forget to send Kanye's tickets. Rude and arrogant-a very little of him goes a long way.

The frequent winner SAM SMITH, (real name), must be good, I just can,t see it. I saw some talent that surprised me, like Ariana Grande, and I always knew GAGA would sing, but some of them are weird. On the whole, it WASN,t as bad as some yeas. Old Tony is still great in my eyes, and still beats these young kids. Will they still be singing at his age?

I liked the set with the red headed guy...with John Mayer and everyone else.

If I can remember his name, I might get some of his songs.

Just listened to part of Beck's ""Blue Moon"". Boring. Repetitive. Maybe Kanye is right! Though I don't know Kanye's music. So now I feel compelled to listen to that too.

Madonna was awful and it seems she was lip syncing. Gwen was gorgeous, but didn't like the song she & Adam sang. The rest is just not my kind of music. At least the ones I saw were dressed decent this year.

If I was either Kim K or Jay-Z, I would be wondering why Kanye is so obsessed with Beyonce and her award nominations. It's quite odd. Also, if he somehow thinks its acceptable to jump on stage at his whim at award shows, they need to simply stop inviting him. He really has boundary issues.

I posted this in the wrong thread:

I don't get Beyoncé at all. She's not that good. And she pretends to be humble, when she isn't. I forced myself to listen to her sing last night and it reinforced to me that she is nothing special.

I mostly liked the show because there was some darn good music going on. However, I never heard most of them before, nor the artists who performed, but then I don't keep up with MTV.

I loved the production with ELO, Usher singing Stevie Wonder, Arianna Grande surprised me, she's lovely and has a beautiful voice, Tony Bennett and Lady GaGa (I wish she would straight sing more often, she has a wonderful voice). And Tony? I heard his first hit when I was 12 years old, I think it was "Stranger in Paradise" or "Rags to Riches," and I'm 77 now. He's amazing.

Worst performance started the show, they went on too long and it was just all noise. Madonna should hang it up now, it's time. And Kanye? No words.

That's my review, not that you asked for it.

I don't "know" Arianna Grande, but she is reported to be quite the diva.

I have an instant dislike for her (my problem, I know) because of her brother Frankie.

I watched him on Big Brother this past summer and he is obnoxious and offensive.

I rarely am so vocal (since I got yelled at here for calling Mike Tyson "tacky" years ago, lol) but Frankie is awful.

Except, I still get surprised (too) often around here with the things that are said. That is weird, you think I would be used to it by now. Slow learner, I guess.
