What is your decorating style?

My living and kitchen and guest bedroom look like an autumn Pottery Barn catalog. The master bedroom and bath more like the summer Pottery Barn.

I really have lots of different styles. I love looking at the decorating styles of Majorie Merriweather Post and guilded age decorators. I love the decadence. Right now I am going through some over the top kind of phase. I love French, traditional, colonial and other styles. I am very into beautiful wallpapers and fabrics. In my guest bathroom I just put in a really over the top faucet that is a very ornate gold swan and it wings turn the water off and on. I really love it but I put it in the guest bath because I knew it would be too much to see everyday.

I will put some up soon. I am having old wall paper in there taken town and my new one going up next week, so I will put them up when it is all done!
