For those of you who are unfamiliar, this is not your normally efficient FedEx service. FedEx transports your package to a nearby facility where residential delivery is then made by the post office. My package sat at the PO for 2 days.

I have begun to notice that online retailers, e.g. NorthStyle seem to "hide" the fact they are shipping via this method. It may be cheaper but it sure isn't customer friendly.

It took 11 calendar days for me to receive a package from California and now North Style (in MA) is telling me it will be 7-10 business days (I live in WI) even though I paid extra for rush service that said delivery would be 3-4 business days.

I'm mostly venting here, but want to warn those of you who expect a reasonable timetable for delivery--it ain't happenin' with FedEx SmartPost! At least, that's my experience!
